Valley View Elementary students enjoyed cultural celebration at the Lunar New Year assembly on Feb. 11, welcoming in the Year of the Monkey. Students and Families Take Part in Annual Walk to School

 
On Oct. 7, local students of all ages, along with teachers, school administrators, city officials and parents, put on their walking shoes for the Fifth Annual Walk-to-School day.

There were meeting points for the various schools around the valley that included Two Strike Park and Montrose and Dunsmore parks.
