QB Kicks Off Season
The Glendale YMCA Quarterback Club will be having its annual kick off party on Aug. 28 at Straw Hat Pizza in La Crescenta from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Members and non-members and families are invited, proceeds from the food purchases will be used to fund scholarships for local athletes. There will be a silent auction and raffle; some of the prizes include Dodger tickets, rare bobble heads, autographed footballs by current NFL players and much more.

The high schools represented by the club are Hoover, Crescenta Valley, Glendale and Saint Francis HS as well as Glendale College and Village Christian School.
