La Crescenta 8U Goes Four for Four in Tournament Play

The La Crescenta (8U) Tournament Team went four for four and took first place at the Hardcore Baseball State Championships Tournament in Rowland Heights over the Fourth of July weekend. Through four games, La Crescenta outscored their opponents by a total of 34-5.

Shown are (front row): Boon Fay, David Case, Ryan Proctor, Aaron Kim, Elijah Lee, Nicholas Cook and Kai Purdy-Burton. In the middle row are: Tyler Yu, Brendon Pehar, Chase Smith and Max Stukel. In back are Coach Tony Lee, Coach David Kim, Manager Gregory Cook and Coach Russ Case.

Having placed first twice and taken second place once this tournament season, the team has two remaining tournaments before wrapping for the season later this month.
