Crescenta Valley High’s Tyler Hill and Brandon Beardt were selected to the All-CIF team for the 2016 football season. Selections were announced on Monday.

Both Hill and Beardt are seniors, and both contributed heavily to a Falcon team that captured its second Pacific League title in three years. CV went 9-1 during the regular season, and 7-0 in league. The Falcons lost to Saugus in the first round of the playoffs. (Saugus had four players named to All-CIF).

Hill, listed as a lineman for this achievement, had 75 tackles, six sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. On offense, Hill proved to be a bulldozer with the ball, rushing for 145 yards in 22 carries with seven touchdowns, as a receiver, he had eight receptions for 65 yards and one touchdown.

Beardt had 283 yards rushing with seven touchdowns, and had 33 catches for 318 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, Beardt recorded 99 tackles, three sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
