Last month, the Parish Council of Women from St. Bede Church hosted a reception and presentation by Lisa Hendey, renowned author, blogger and founder of CatholicMom.com. Her presentation focused on the role of the Catholic family and strategies for cultivating a dynamic Catholic family in today’s society.

“The St. Bede Parish Council of Women was honored to have Lisa Hendey speak to our members,” said Dorey Huston, chair of the Parish Council of Women. “Her experience as an author and as a Catholic mom provided incredible insight into living our faith while nurturing our families.”

Hendey’s presentation is part of the speakers’ series sponsored by St. Bede Church to provide opportunities for deeper understanding of the Catholic faith and for members to have meaningful discussion and dialogue to nurture their relationship with Christ.
