Members of St. Luke’s Anglican Church gathered presents for Operation Christmas Child, a Samaritan’s Purse outreach project.

On Sunday, Nov. 14, St. Luke’s Anglican Church, fulfilling part of its mission of “Encountering Christ, Transforming Lives, and Demonstrating Love,” participated in Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse which provides simple gift-filled care boxes to children in desperate situations all over the world.

“We estimate 114 boxes received,” said Kelly Ralston, St. Luke’s Operation Christmas Child project leader. The children presented the boxes for prayer before they were sent
off to the processing center for delivery.
