A 43-year-old Pasadena man was found dead of an apparent suicide in a vehicle parked along Angeles Crest Highway, mile marker 27.2 on Monday.

“It [has been determined] a suicide [from] a gunshot wound,” said Craig Harvey, Los Angeles County Coroner spokesman.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man dead at 2:57 p.m.
