LCF City Council Meetings Live Streamed

The City of La Cañada Flintridge has recently launched an online video streaming solution for broadcast of city council meetings. This was done to increase transparency and accountability to the public.

The Government Transparency and Efficiency Suites, managed and hosted by Granicus, will allow members of the public to view city council meetings live online. The software provides a user-friendly solution for agenda, report and minute management. This platform also archives prior meetings, making video footage of council meetings readily available to citizens interested in their local government.

“The movement to Granicus represents an investment in transparency by the city council. This software will make accessing government easier for the public. Citizens can now review council meeting footage at their leisure and from the comfort of home, which is a significant improvement from the prior system,” said City Clerk Tania Moreno.

Members of the public can access this system at www.lcf.ca.gov/publicmeetings. Currently, city council meetings are the only meetings with live streaming online. Audio recordings of commission meetings are still available upon request.
