4600 block of Cloud Avenue in La Crescenta, a house was ransacked and jewelry and computer equipment were stolen from a home between 7:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

Nov. 30
8600 block of Foothill Boulevard in Tujunga, a 60-year-old Burbank man was arrested by deputies responding to a call concerning a man with a knife. Deputies discovered an informant who stated he collects and recycles cardboard for his living. He and others who collect cardboard, according to the informant, have an agreement of specific locations each person is to pick up cardboard from. The Burbank man allegedly on several occasions ignored that agreement and collected items from areas outside his specific area. When the informant confronted him, the Burbank man threatened him verbally and with a box cutter. The incident occurred at 9:55 a.m.

4300 block of Vista Place in La Cañada Flintridge, rooms were ransacked and jewelry was stolen from a home between 6 p.m. and
10 p.m.

Nov. 25
900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a 75-year-old Pasadena woman was arrested after she was seen taking items from Home Goods. Employees witnessed the woman allegedly taking items from shelves and placing them in a shopping bag she had in a cart. She then went to the front door with the items and waited as her daughter paid for other items at the register. The woman took her sweater off and placed it inside the shopping bag, on top of the taken items. She then walked out of the store. Employees stopped her, escorted her back into the store and called the sheriffs at 12:39 p.m.

Nov. 23
900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, deputies stopped a 23-year-old Pasadena man for riding his bicycle on the wrong side of the street. During an investigation the detective discovered the man had stolen items from the nearby Home Goods earlier that day. He was stopped at 12:30 p.m.
