Two Sought in Montrose Jewelry Store Grand Theft

On Nov. 5  at 11:15 a.m., the two unknown male suspects entered the Mardo K Fine Jewelry store at 2269 Honolulu Ave., Montrose. The males verbally identified themselves as “Rene” and “Juan” and communicated in Spanish. While being shown jewelry, suspect Rene reached into an open jewelry drawer and grabbed earrings valued at $3,939, placing them in his pocket. Both suspects browsed for a few minutes more before leaving.

Suspect descriptions:
Suspect 1 “RENE”: Male Hispanic approximate 35 years, 5’8”, 200 lbs. with a crew cut.
Suspect 2 “JUAN”: Male Hispanic,  5’7”, 160 lbs.
