Nov. 21

4600 block of Hume Avenue in La Crescenta, an air compressor and clothes were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between midnight and 7:30 a.m.

Nov. 18

4800 block of La Crescenta Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident reported that a person unknown knocked twice on the front door of her residence. The resident looked outside and saw the suspect, described as a man 20 to 30 years old, get into the front passenger side of a vehicle that was parked near her location. A few seconds later the man got out of the vehicle and walked toward the back entrance of her home. She heard glass break in the kitchen area. She screamed and the man fled. The incident occurred at 11:10 p.m.

3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, the owner of a company contacted by her alarm company of an activation at her business. The front glass door of the business had been shattered. Surveillance footage revealed two suspects, the first described as a man, 6’ tall, weighing about 210 pounds and the second described as man, 5’8″ tall, weighing about 250 pounds, entering the business through the shattered front door. The first suspect walked to the register inside the store and opened a few drawers. The second suspect hopped over a counter and out of sight. The commercial burglary occurred at 3:36 a.m.

Nov. 17

2100 block of Glenada Avenue in Montrose, cash and a flashlight were stolen and the driver’s side window of a vehicle was smashed overnight.

Sports Chalet Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a briefcase with personal items, and a gym bag was stolen and the passenger rear window was smashed of a vehicle between 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Nov. 12

3000 block of Brookhill Street in La Crescenta, a wallet, laptop computer, iPad, golf clubs, DVD player and sunglasses were stolen from a locked vehicle. There was no sign of force entry. The vehicle burglary occurred overnight.
