Glendale PD Searching for Suspects in Morning Montrose Robbery

Glendale Police are searching for two or three African American men who are suspected of robbing a Montrose jewelry store this morning.

According to a release by Glendale Police Depart., a suspect impersonating a Fed Ex delivery person entered a Montrose jewelry store in the 2200 block of  Honolulu Ave. at approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning. When the victim went to sign, the suspect pulled a handgun from the box and pistol whipped the victim. The victim sustained facial injuries.

The suspects fled in a light colored vehicle with paper plates.

Anyone who may have seen suspicion persons in the area prior to the robbery are asked to call the Glendale Police Department at (818) 548-4911 or (818) 548-3987, attention Detective Mike Wenz of the Robbery – Homicide Unit.
