2900 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, an iPhone was stolen from a student’s locked locker in the Crescenta Valley High School gymnasium locker room while the student was in cross-country class between 2 p.m. and
4:30 p.m.
Oct. 22
2200 block of Barton Lane in Montrose, cash was stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.
Oct. 21
Foothill Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue in La Crescenta, a 25-year-old Glendale man was arrested on suspicion of
a controlled substance resembling methamphetamine. Deputies saw the man walking along Foothill Boulevard. He appeared to be swaying  and stumbling. After an investigation, deputies discovered the man was on probation for possession of a controlled substance. Deputies conducted a probationary search and discovered three small plastic bags containing a crystal-like substance resembling methamphetamine. The man was arrested at 5:05 p.m.
Oct. 17
Briggs and Montrose avenues in Glendale, a  20-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested after a routine traffic stop by Glendale police discovered narcotic paraphernalia, burglary tools and a folder with personal information that was later found to be stolen. He was arrested at 1:37 a.m.
