As a parent of a 7th Grader at Rosemont, I have to say that I am FURIOUS that the school did not utilize it's "call system" to notify parents of the "narcotics for sale" arrest. It would have been nice to get a recording of Principal Doll stating the fact that this happened and reminding us that we need to remain vigilant in our commitment to keep drugs out of our schools. We received a call for the confirmed case of H1N1, but not this....I wonder why not? Drugs coming into our schools is a virus even MORE deadly than H1N1, in my opionion. I think it completely appropriate to engage this system when "things" like this occur and it saddens me that I had to read it in the paper (by the way C.V. Weekly, THANK YOU!). Better late than never, I suppose... Let's all try to remember that "Knowledge is power".
