It is time once again for the Annual Crescenta Valley Town Council Pancake Breakfast on Sept. 29 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The CVTC Pancake Breakfast is held at Crescenta Valley High School, 2900 Community Ave., La Crescenta, and is a fundraiser to help the council’s scholarship program.

Each year the council distributes several scholarships to deserving local students to help them with their college career. The pancake breakfast is one of its biggest fundraisers.

In addition to helping students with scholarships, the fundraiser also gives local organizations a chance to raise money for their own programs. With each presold ticket sale of $5, the selling organization receives $2.50. The council splits the profit from the fundraiser 50/50 with other organizations.

And with each ticket is a chance to win an iPad. It is a win/win/win for the community.

Tickets are being presold for $5 and $6 at the door. For information or to buy a ticket, visit the CVTC website at www.thecvcouncil.com.
