Aug. 9
2800 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the Crescenta Valley Car Wash. When they arrived they found the front exterior glass door was shattered, nothing appeared to be stolen at 5:25 a.m.
Aug. 6
3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, the front glass door of the United Haircutters and forcibly entered a locked office door. Cash was stolen from the location overnight.
Aug. 5
1900 block of Waltonia Drive in Montrose, a 42-year-old man was arrested for possession of personal identifying information and suspicion of possession of marijuana. Deputies were conducting a compliance check at the man’s home. (Compliance checks are conducted of people on probation). Deputies found several files with personal information of a variety of individuals on a computer and two pill bottles containing what appeared to be marijuana. The arrest was made at 7 a.m.
July 26
2500 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a silver serving chalice with engraving “To the Glory of God” on the bottom, microphones, a CD player and public address system was stolen were stolen from the choir area inside the chapel at St. Luke’s of the Mountains. The theft was reported at 2 pm.
