5500 block of Pine Cone Road in La Crescenta, a mail package was stolen from the front porch of a residence between 1:09 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Aug. 1
3100 block of Encinal Avenue in La Crescenta, plumbing equipment was stolen from a van at 4:09 a.m.
4800 block of Hampton Road in La Cañada, a rear sliding glass door was shattered and several rooms were ransacked in a home. There was nothing reported stolen as at the time the incident reported between 5:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
July 31
2300 block of Jayma Lane in La Crescenta, a coin purse and personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.
July 30
1900 block of Ravista Lane in La Cañada, a purse and personal items were found in the front yard of a residence. It was discovered that the items had been stolen from a vehicle in the area earlier. The items were placed in the yard overnight.
4900 Palm Drive in La Cañada, two handbags containing personal items and a cosmetic bag were found in the front yard of a residence. It was later discovered the found items had been from a vehicle parked at a nearby business. The items were placed in the yard overnight.
2900 block of Fairmont Avenue in La Crescenta, someone slashed all four tires of a vehicle that was parked at the location overnight.
July 28
4400 block of Oak Grove in La Cañada, a backpack, laptop computer and several personal items were stolen and the front passenger window was smashed on a vehicle between 9 a.m. and noon.
July 26
5000 block of Briggs Avenue in La Crescenta, the passenger window was shattered and a box of tools was stolen from a vehicle between July 26 and Aug. 1.
