Aug. 9
4700 block of Oakwood Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, the front passenger window was shattered and money was stolen from a vehicle reported at 4 a.m.
4700 block of Oakwood Drive in La Cañada, the rear driver side window was smashed, nothing was reported stolen from a vehicle overnight.

Aug. 8
Montrose Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard in Montrose, a 37-year-old Sunland man was cited for driving on a suspended license at 6:30 p.m.
5300 block of Angeles Crest Highway in La Cañada, a door was damaged, several rooms were ransacked and jewelry was stolen from a home between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
La Crescenta and Prospect avenues in La Crescenta, an 18-year-old woman reported that as she was sitting at a bus stop a man approached the area. He began walking back and forth behind the bench where she was sitting. A few minutes later he returned and again began pacing behind the bench.
He reportedly asked the girl when the next bus would arrive, she responded, “15 minutes.” He then walked south to Prospect Avenue, turned right and out of sight. He returned a few minutes later and began pacing behind the bench again. From several feet away he ran toward the girl and grabbed the iPod she was holding in her hands.
He began to pull but she would not let go of the iPod. After several seconds of struggling, the bus was approaching the stop and the suspect fled. He got into the passenger side of a white Jeep Cherokee, which drove eastbound on Prospect Avenue.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 5’8”, 200 to 250 pounds. At the time of the incident he was wearing a blue and red baseball-type cap and a blue baggy T-shirt. There was no description of the driver of the Jeep. The incident occurred between 12:15 p.m. and 12:25 p.m.

Aug. 7
Foothill Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue in La Crescenta, a 29-year-old Tujunga woman was cited for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
Angeles Crest Highway and Foothill (210) Freeway in La Cañada, a 30-year-old Altadena man was cited for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

Aug. 5
5700 block of Freeman Avenue in La Crescenta, several items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

Aug. 4
400 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, plastic skid pallets were stolen from Trader Joes market reported at 2:30 p.m.
2400 block of Carol Park Place in La Crescenta, the front driver’s side window was smashed and a wallet and iPod were stolen from a vehicle overnight.

Aug. 3
800 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a man entered the AT&T store and reportedly stole an iPhone from a display area. The suspect is described as a male, white, 5’7”, 160 pounds. At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a white fedora hat, long sleeve blue button down shirt, grey pants and white shoes.
