The Junior League of Pasadena, Inc. (JLP) will hold its next prospective member open house on Saturday, August 17 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the League’s headquarters. Ladies from the Pasadena area and beyond who are interested in learning more about the League’s over 85 years of leadership and service in the community are welcome to attend.
Prospective members will learn about the League’s mission to develop the potential of women, improve communities and promote voluntarism. They will also have the opportunity to meet with current members and learn about the League’s service projects and why the organization was named as one of Pasadena’s “50 Inspiring Charities” by “THE Magazine” in 2011.
In addition to a hands-on experience in contributing to community causes, League members receive training in leadership and advocacy skills, management, marketing and communication skills.
The Junior League of Pasadena encourages all women who are interested in joining to attend the open houses to learn more about becoming a part of its community.
The last open house will be on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
The open houses will be held at the League’s headquarters, located at
