The Glendale Fire Dept. is currently seeking applicants and encourages those who meet the requirements, especially those with bi-lingual language skills, to apply.

The application bulletin opened Aug. 5 and will remain open until Aug. 16.

Position requirements:
18 years of age; Class C driver’s license; emergency medical technician (EMT) – 1 license.

The Glendale Fire Dept. is a Class 1 department operating in Los Angeles County. The City of Glendale is the fourth largest city in the county with nine fire stations, a regional communications center serving several fire departments, 24-hour staffing of 261 personnel, including paramedics, three truck companies, basic life support ambulances, HazMat unit, Type-1 Urban Search and Rescue, water tenders, air utility apparatus and Battalion Command Teams.
