On Thursday, July 26, at 6:46 p.m., Burbank Police Officers were at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center on an unrelated incident when they were alerted to a 16 year-old male brought in by Burbank Fire Department.

The male juvenile had been brought in from Pullman’s gym at 4320 West Magnolia Boulevard, after complaining of pain from light sparring while boxing.

While at the hospital, the male suddenly went unconscious. All efforts by medical personnel to revive the male were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the hospital about an hour later.
