Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of stealing alcohol from the Vons Market in La Crescenta.

On June 20 at about 7:50 p.m., two men entered Vons Market in the 3200 block of Foothill Blvd. According to the Glendale Police Dept. report, the two men entered the market separately both acting as if they were grocery shopping.

The two men eventually met in the liquor aisle. As one man appeared to be acting as a lookout, the other man took three bottles of tequila and placed them in a dark colored backpack. They both then exited the store separately.

Together they got into a vehicle described as a mid/late 2000s green Toyota or Honda.

The man who acted as a lookout is described as 25 to 30 years old, 5’11″ to 6′ 1″ tall, thin build with short brown hair and wearing eyeglasses.

The man who took the liquor and was in possession of the backpack as he exited the store is described as 25 to 30 years old, 5’7″ to 5’9″ tall, medium build with black hair. He had a goatee plus a mustache and was wearing eyeglasses and a gold crucifix necklace.

Anyone with information on the identity of either of the suspects is asked to contact Glendale Police Dept. Burglary detective Kelly Kramer at (818) 548-2097.
