June 7
600 block of Normandie in Los Angeles, a 19-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested in connection with a burglary that had previously occurred on Altura Avenue in La Crescenta. LAPD contacted CV Sheriff’s concerning a trespassing call they responded to. They found the suspect and after an investigation discovered he had a warrant out of the LASD/CV Station. Burglary tools and two debit cards that were not in his name were allegedly found in his possession. He was arrested for possession of an access card with intent to defraud and possession of burglary tools at 1:50 a.m.
June 5
2800 block of Montrose Avenue, a 19-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested for allegedly breaking items on several vehicles. Glendale police responded to a call concerning a suspicious man walking in the area who was apparently breaking items on parked vehicles along the street. Officers arrived and located the suspect. GPD discovered damage ranging from broken mirrors, windshields and taillights along with miscellaneous dents on about 23 vehicles in the area. Car alarms alerted residents who reportedly witnessed the suspect committing the spree of vandalism.
The suspect was arrested and booked for felony vandalism and was held
on a 90,000 bail. His court date is on June 16. The GPD received the call at 3:35 a.m.

2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a man described as white, 6’ to 6’2” tall, 160 to 180 pounds with dark hair entered the Rite Aid and took a brand of saline nasal medication off the shelf, unwrapped it and allegedly placed it in his pocket. A store employee followed the man, with the empty box of saline solution, throughout the store. The employee approached the man and identified himself as a store employee. The man reportedly stated he did not have the money to pay for the item. At this point a second man began arguing with the employee.
Both men then left the store without paying for the item. The event occurred at 2:49 p.m.
June 3
4400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in La Crescenta, a 37-year-old Los Angeles man was cited for driving without a valid California license at 5:43 p.m.
June 1
2200 block of Daisy Lane in La Cañada, a catalytic converter was stolen from a 2003 Toyota Sequoia overnight.
May 31
1900 block of Lombardy Drive in La Cañada, a catalytic converter was stolen from a Toyota Sequoia SUV between 12:30 a.m. and 9 am.
May 29
5400 block of Pinecone Road in La Crescenta, a purse with personal contents and a Bluetooth device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in an open garage between midnight and 6:30 a.m.
