A father and daughter were found after an all-night search in the Angeles National Forest.

Crescenta Valley Sheriff ‘s Station received a call at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday concerning a missing father, 57 years old, and daughter, 15, both from La Crescenta who had been hiking in the Switzer Falls area.

“The father and daughter had been dropped off at Switzer Falls and were going to walk to JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory). The [mom] was going to pick them up at 5 p.m.,” said Lt. Angela Shepard.

When they didn’t arrive, the CV Sheriff’s Station was contacted and Montrose Search and Rescue joined in the search for the two hikers. They were found early Monday.

“They were just lost. They were found uninjured,” Shepard said.

The two had hiked the area in the past.

They were found at 5:30 a.m.
