On Friday, the Glendale Police Dept. arrested a man for sexual battery allegedly committed at a local 99 Cents Only store. Detectives believe there are more victims and are urging those who have any information to come forward.

The investigation started on May 13 when two adult female victims, independent from each other, reported having their buttocks groped while shopping inside the 99 Cents Only store. One of the victims confronted the suspect who fled from the store, located in the 6400 block of San Fernando Road in Glendale. At the time, the suspect remained unidentified but store employees recognized the man as a regular customer.

On Friday, the suspect returned to the store and employees called the police. The suspect, identified as 46-year-old Robert Yaghnazari of Burbank, was taken into custody and charged with one count of sexual battery. Yaghnazari was previously arrested by GPD in February 2015 for a similar incident that occurred at Brand Park.
