Members of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station Memorial Fund Committee want to thank the many organizations, businesses, and individuals for their generous donations toward the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station Memorial Project.
The project will honor fallen local heroes and deputies who gave their lives in service to the foothill community.
On Tuesday, May 10 Nick and Arsen Sarkisian, residents of the community and owners of NASA Services, made a generous donation of $5,000 towards the project.
NASA Services’ contribution pushed us much closer to our goal, and our fundraising process is continuing, said organizers.
The next fundraiser is June 11 at the Wine Cave, 2427 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose at 7 p.m. The public is invited to join the committee for this worthwhile community event.
While memorial plans are approved and the bronze material is being created, groundbreaking and construction is planned for this summer. If plans continue on schedule, a dedication will be arranged for the early fall.
Donations are still being accepted through the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station Support Group, PO Box 12458, La Crescenta 91214, with the word “memorial” listed in the note section.
