Freshman Cheerleading Team Announced at CVHS
Crescenta Valley High School Cheer Team will continue to have a freshman team. For years, ninth graders had their own cheer team, however this year it had been announced that there would no longer be a freshman team.

Vickie Bouldin, a cheer mentor, approached Principal Michele Doll and suggested the freshman team stay intact due to the overwhelming popularity of the program.

“We want to do what the students want,” Doll said. If 100 students try out for 30 positions that would seem unfair, she added. The cheer at the high school is a popular and award winning program.
