This year’s Arbor Day celebration, sponsored by Supervisor Michael Antonovich and the Crescenta Valley Town Council, honored the veterans from the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.  The two local veterans groups are spearheading the Two Strike Park Memorial Wall project at Two Strike Park where the Arbor Day festivities took place on Saturday morning. Funds are being raised to construct a wall that will honor those who have given their life in service to their country.

Veteran Mike Baldwin and Antonovich were among those who addressed the crowd.

Booths that were manned by local organizations helped spread the news of conservation and offered information on a variety of subjects.
