Run and Hike on Sunday
The Glendale Community Services & Parks Department, to benefit the Glendale Parks & Open Space Foundation, is hosting a 6.2 mile run and hike in Brand Park on Sunday at 8 a.m. The Verdugo Mountains 10K Trail Run & Hike is presented by Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center

37th Annual Fiesta Days Run
Join the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA in celebrating Memorial Day this year at the annual Fiesta Days Run. Participate in a one mile Family Fun Run, Cherry Canyon Hike, 5k walk, 5k or 10k race beginning at Descanso Gardens at 7:15 a.m. Monday morning, May 28.

The Fiesta Days Run is a long standing tradition of the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA when families can be together and participate in a healthy activity for spirit, mind and body.

Big WEEK Out Benefits AIDS Service Center
Recording artist, actor, entertainer and honorary chair Sam Harris will host the 15th annual Big WEEK Out on Saturday, May 5 at the historic and iconic Robinson House, a 17,000 square foot Greene & Greene set on four acres in Pasadena overlooking the Colorado Street Bridge. The event, benefiting AIDS Service Center (ASC), will celebrate its 15th birthday with a week of events turning what has been one night of grandeur into a whole week’s worth of fun.

This unique lifestyle event explores the beauty and uniqueness of Pasadena and surrounding areas by hosting approximately 20 exclusive dinner parties in some of the region’s most distinguished and historic settings benefiting AIDS Service Center (ASC).

Big Night Out has become one of the region’s most enthusiastically anticipated events and ASC’s premiere fundraiser. The concept is simple: 700 guests gather at a grand estate for a gala reception to kick off the week’s worth of events in honor of its 15 years. The kick off gala includes auctions, hors-d’oeuvres, and hosted bars. The silent auction this year will be focused on travel and fine dining. The live auction will be composed of 15 exclusive luxury items.

The week’s events will consist of a unique array of events to include Beverly Hills Trousdale Estate, Tony Duquette’s Hollywood Hills home, a Wallace Neff home, A Sexy Glam Party in a downtown loft, a 70s Disco-themed Party, A Housewives of Beverly Hills Party and many more.

Tickets are: $250 and include the gala reception and one dinner party; $125 is for the gala reception only; $100 for each dinner party add on.
