On April 19,  at approximately 4:50 am, the Glendale Police Department responded to the 400 block of East Harvard Street involving a mattress that was set on fire, resulting in fire damage to a carport adjacent to where the mattress was located.

The Glendale Police Department believes this is connected to a series of fires set in the area and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible. At this point, there have been 17 fires relating to rubbish left on the sidewalk and alleys in the South Area Command of Glendale during the night time and early morning hours starting in January 2014.

The Glendale Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000.00 for information that leads to an arrest. To leave a tip anonymously, call the Glendale Crime Stoppers at 818-507-7867.

Individuals with information can call Detective Goodreau at 818-548-3127.
