Veterans from the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) carried two long flagpoles into the Crescenta Valley Water District yard in the 4700 block of Rosemont Avenue. The poles will eventually be used for the Two Strike Park Memorial Wall for which funds are currently being raised. The flagpoles will stand at either side of the wall. They were donated by veteran Andy Gero and his wife Marie.

The next fundraiser is a 5K run that is being held on April 21. For information, contact the CV Chamber of Commerce at (818) 248-4957 or visit www.twostrikememorial.org.
