La Crescenta Burglary Suspect Arrested

The suspect who was the center of a burglary investigation that began on Thursday that included both Los Angeles County sheriffs and the Glendale Police Dept. has been arrested.

Late Thursday afternoon a burglary occurred in the Highridge Road area of La Crescenta. It was alleged the suspect stole a shotgun from the victim’s residence. Deputies conducted a search of the neighborhoods. Later that night and the next day Glendale police received information that someone matching the description of the suspect was apparently sighted with a shotgun in the Glendale area of Markridge Road.  A search continued throughout the weekend.

The 25-year-old, male suspect was arrested by deputies Sunday night and booked for burglary, according to Sgt. Gerhard Ogurek, CV Sheriff’s Station.

The investigation is ongoing by both LASD and GPD.
