Burrtec Drops Load on Rosemont

Burrtec mess

The rear of a Burrtec garbage truck apparently started opening just south of Manhattan Avenue on Rosemont Avenue this afternoon. A witness reported seeing the back open up for no apparent reason and garbage started spilling out. The driver said he didn’t know the cause  of the apparent malfunction. Neighbors took their shovels, rakes and brooms outside to assist Burrtec employees clean up the garbage that spewed out in the west lane of Rosemont Avenue.

The Glendale Police Dept. has been called to help with traffic control and Burrtec has asked for more trucks to help with the clean up.
