Booklets Being Mailed for LCUSD Special Election

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (RR/CC) began mailing more than 12,800 Vote by Mail booklets to voters for the March 4 La Cañada Unified School District Special Parcel Tax Election. To learn about measure LC in the election, visit https://www.lavote.net/voter/pdfs/election_related/03042014_measures_on_ballot.pdf.

Voters can also vote early by visiting the third floor in room 3002 of the RR/CC headquarters located at 12400 Imperial Hwy., Norwalk through Election Day.

Please note that this is a Vote by Mail election. Residents in the La Cañada Unified School District who register to vote by the deadline on Monday, Feb. 17 will receive a Sample Ballot Booklet.

There are several options to register to vote:

• Apply online at www.lavote.net.

• Apply in person at the RR/CC’s Norwalk office: 12400 Imperial Highway.

• Apply in person at public libraries, Department of Motor Vehicles offices, U.S. post offices and most government buildings where paper voter registration applications are available.

L.A. County residents who registered to vote can check their status online. For multilingual election assistance in Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai or Vietnamese, call (800) 481-8683.
