Oakwood Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge, two 21-year-old Altadena men were arrested for public intoxication after deputies responded to a call concerning young men who appeared to be drunk playing in the street. When deputies arrived, they found the two men sitting on the sidewalk at the location. One man was holding up his middle finger as cars drove by. Deputies searched the two men. As one man was leaning up against the trunk of the patrol unit, he slumped over causing the deputy to lift him off the car and sit him down. Once the two men were taken to the CV Station, they allegedly told deputies that they had driven a car to the location but couldn’t remember exactly where it was.
