400 block of Belair Drive in La Cañada, a woman reported that a case of indecent exposure occurred while she was sitting in a parked vehicle. The woman was sitting in the passenger seat of her vehicle waiting for her husband when a man, described as Hispanic, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, weighing 130 to 140 pounds, approached the vehicle’s passenger window. He reportedly exposed himself and began sexual self-stimulation. The woman immediately called the sheriff’s station and the man walked away toward the rear parking lot of a nearby pizza restaurant.
The incident occurred at 7:48 p.m.
Sport Chalet Drive and Town Center Drive in La Cañada Flintridge, a 23-year-old Van Nuys man was arrested for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. During a routine traffic stop it was found the man was driving on a suspended driver’s license. After an investigation it was also found there was an active warrant in his name for failure to appear in court for driving under the influence. A small plastic container containing an off-white crystalline substance resembling methamphetamine was reportedly found in the man’s pocket. A search of his vehicle allegedly found drug paraphilia.
The arrest was made at 11:19 p.m.
2900 block of Fairmount Avenue in La Crescenta, an 18-year-old La Crescenta man had a loud argument with a family member. The man allegedly grabbed the cellphone from the victim’s hand and threw it shattering the screen. He reportedly also destroyed a Ping-Pong table that was located in the exterior of the location. The man was arrested for vandalism at 1:30 p.m.
Angeles Crest Highway, Mile Marker 28.00 in the Angeles National Forest, two Los Angeles men, 23 years old and 22 years old, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, rock cocaine, and possession of nitrous oxide. During a patrol a deputy witnessed one of the men standing outside a vehicle that was parked at the location. The deputy approached as part of a welfare check and discovered a blue metal cylindrical tank on the floor of the passenger side of the vehicle along with deflated balloons. It appeared the men were using the tank that allegedly stated “compressed gas oxidizing N.O.S.” One of the men allegedly stated he was looking for a place to get “high.” An investigation also allegedly found an off-white rock substance resembling rock cocaine in the driver’s side door handle.
The arrests were made at 2:28 a.m.
2800 block of Mayfield Avenue in Montrose, a vehicle’s registration sticker was stolen from a parked car overnight.
2300 block of Mira Vista Street in Montrose, a tool bag, several hand tools and a wallet were stolen and the interior of a truck was ransacked overnight.
