Burglary at Glendale Optical Store

On January 6, at about 4:43 a.m., Glendale police officers responded to Blue Eyes Optical, located in the 120 block of West Wilson Avenue, regarding a commercial burglary in progress. On arrival, officers located the front window of the business smashed and the interior ransacked.

Investigation revealed, a witness heard a noise and then alarm activation. Upon looking outside his window, he saw the front windows of the Optometry business smashed and four males wearing black clothing with masks and scarfs running out of the store.  The males entered two vehicles described as a black Jeep Compass and a Nissan minivan.

Estimated loss to the business is approximately $50,000.00.
