The rain that has hit the foothill area has caused power outages for some Southern California Edison customers.
It appears that power is out west from Ocean View Boulevard to Pennsylvania Avenue along Montrose Avenue. Traffic signals are out at La Crescenta Avenue and Montrose Avenue and Rosemont Avenue and Montrose Avenue. Orangedale Avenue south Montrose Avenue is closed; firefighters are on scene. There are downed wires at Orangeade and Montrose avenues at Montrose Community Church in the 2400 block of Montrose Avenue.
CVW has placed a call to SCE but has yet to hear back.
Remember to drive slowly due to the power outages and wet weather.
