Christmas baseball camp offered

Play Hard Christmas Baseball Camp takes place from Dec. 27 through Dec. 30. Play Hard owner is Danny Ricabal. L.A. Angels minor league pitching instructor and Oakland A’s scout Eric Martins is a camp coach and infield instructor.

The camp takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Blair High School located at 1201 S. Marengo Ave. in Pasadena. It is geared for kids from 4 to 14 years of age with grouping according to age and ability. The fee is $225 with a $25 discount offered by sign up before Dec. 4.

ComedySportz at CVHS

ComedySportz is a competitive, edgy comedic contest held at Crescenta Valley High School. Matches are held between CV teams and also against teams of other schools. This season’s managers are seniors Charlotte Horton and Kristina Gustovich. The school advisor is Gavin Hall. The public is invited to attend matches held at Crescenta Valley High School.
