Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy inducted three talented sisters into its Hall of Fame on Sept. 26 during the school’s annual family Mass and fiesta celebration.
Laura MacPherson Fredricks of the class of 1988, Heather MacPherson Smith of the class of 1991 and Melissa MacPherson Korn of the class of 1997 all excelled in swimming and led their FSHA swim teams to CIF championships. And again following in one  another’s footsteps, all three attended La Salle University in Philadelphia on swim scholarships.
FSHA coaches Kirk Nishiyama and Betsy Sauer, who coached the girls while they were at FSHA, lauded the three for their athletic ability, intensity and competitive spirit.
