Fremont Elementary students held a brief ceremony and took a moment of silence to remember those who died on 9/11.

Sixth grader Q Flanagan-Gorham conducted the ceremony as Cub Scout Pack 304, Den 4 raised the American flag. Cub Scout members in attendance were Owen Clark, Jackson Bullard, Jared Noh, Nick Martin, Mason Allen, Nikolai Pravikoff, Brian Harley, Matthew Regan and leader Flanagan-Gorham.

“It’s important to remember,” Flanagan-Gorham said.

Many of the children were not born when the 9/11 attacks happened in 2001, but those at the school held the ceremony for the students to remember the day and honor those who died.
