The 30th Annual Lincoln 500 was held at the end of May on the school’s campus. The race is modeled after the Great Indy 500.  Seven teams of seven kids each race around the track on Razor Scream Machines hoping to be the first team to cross the finish line.

The race ends with the Glendale Police department issuing tickets to the “fastest” team.
The event is a fun-filled family affair and is not a fundraiser. The event is held in combination with an awards ceremony and scholarship luncheon for CVHS seniors who attended Lincoln Elementary School.
