Butterflies are back for a limited time only at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. The new enclosure allows guests to get up close and personal with the butterflies, walking through their environment. The mesh-covered quonset hut allows more air through the enclosure and into the butterflies, which helps their health and flight.
The new Butterfly pavillion only runs for one month, from September 16 to October 16, when the butterflies will fly away to their winter home to make way for the Spider Pavillion, just in time for Halloween. For ticketing and more info, visit NHM.org.
