Copper
Copper is 11 years old and the family pet of the Thomas family. He is appearing as Sandy in the play “Annie” currently at the Glendale Centre Theater. Rebecca Thomas is also in the play as one of the three Boylan sisters and also part of the ensemble. Robert Thomas is the off stage dog handler and also plays Lt. Ward. This is the first time acting experience for both Robert and Copper.

  1. Michael Sterling says:

Here, here… cheers, cheers, cheers and more cheers to “Copper”. Whoever said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks… should think again! Copper is an actor of the first “pet-igree” who, after 6 weeks of being trained with love and kindness by his devoted master and best friend Robert Thomas, emerged a true star not only in his own right, but in our producition of Annie. I will forever be grateful to you Robert (and you Rebecca) and your family for your dilligence and dedicated work with Copper who, as “Sandy”, steps up to the plate and delivers everything I asked for, including an unaffected and heart warming performance.

    - Michael Sterling, Director of Annie now through June 30 at the Glendale Centre Theatre
