July 11
4600 block of Hume Avenue in La Crescenta, a man reported that as he was in his kitchen he looked out the window and noticed that the dome light was on in his mother’s vehicle. He noticed a man, described as white, in his 20s, 5’10” tall and weighing 160 pounds with sandy blonde hair and wearing a blue sweater, rummaging through the vehicle. The witness immediately called the CV Sheriff’s Station and then looked out the window again and the man was gone. It was discovered the vehicle had been ransacked and a bag of women’s clothing had been stolen at 1:40 a.m.
July 5
600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the driver’s side window was shattered and a purse was stolen from a vehicle overnight.
