Winter Wonderland Weekend – a Reward for Shopping Local!

Come to Montrose for Winter Wonderland!

Come to Montrose for Winter Wonderland!

There is no place like Montrose to immerse yourself in the small town holiday feeling of years gone by! The Montrose Shopping Park is the perfect stage for our Winter Wonderland Weekend starting tomorrow at 10 a.m. First, let’s talk shopping. Did you know you can win a Kindle Fire HD and all kinds of prizes by keeping it local this weekend? Most of our stores have a snowflake in the window symbolizing a special deal. When you shop and dine at our stores, save your receipts and take them to the MSPA booth near Starbucks. For every $50 you spend you get to spin the prize wheel and get a prize! In addition when you spend $150 or more you can enter the drawing for a free Kindle!

Friday is the day to shop all day and stay into the night. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. we will have snow, Santa and strolling Christmas carolers. Mayor Dave Weaver will be here to light our Christmas tree and you will see the town lit before your very eyes as snow gently falls. Dale Dawson will then lead us in an old fashioned sing-a-long. This whole event will warm your heart and I look forward to sharing it with you and your family.

Saturday brings another reason to shop & dine. It’s Small Business Saturday, a nationwide event that encourages everyone to support their favorite small stores. American Express gives registered cardholders a $10 credit on your statement when you make a purchase at any of the businesses on their map. Over 50 of our stores are participating! See On Saturday you can look forward to live entertainment, spa stations and free henna tattoos while you shop. So many of our stores are doing specials this weekend! Here is a sampling of what you will find:

Once Upon A Time will have eight authors signing and selling on SBS and give a gift with purchase (GWP). Revelation Tops has no sales tax and GWP. It Takes A Village is offering no tax & GWP. Order a silhouette of your child on Saturday. La Perla Design Gallery is giving $15 -$50 off depending on how you spend plus there’ll be refreshments. Mountain Rose Gifts has no tax & GWP. Grayson’s Tune Town has no tax and 10% off select brand name guitars. Needle In A Haystack is giving 10% to 30% off depending on what you spend. Tom’s Toys has 25% to 30% off when you spend $30 regular price. White’s Gallery is giving 15% off custom framing with coupon. Montrose Candy has 20% off select bulk candy. Uptown Face & Body is offering a one-hour massage for $49 or European facial for $59.

On behalf of the Montrose Shopping Park, we wish you all a happy and blessed Thanksgiving! We are thankful to have this special place where entrepreneurs can flourish and provide a peaceful, old-fashioned Christmas setting with storeowners who wrap gifts and know your name.

Come home to Montrose!
