OKTOBERFEST is next week. I would like to recognize our sponsors who, without their help, this event would be weak.
Our Major sponsors are: Montrose Travel, Glendale NewsPress, La Cañada Valley Sun, ACE Beverage and La Cañada Outlook. Platinum sponsor is Sparr Heights District Business Association. Gold sponsors are J’s Maintenance & Maid Service and Crescenta Valley Weekly.
Silver sponsors are Andy’s Transfer & Storage, Pasadena Magazine and Glendale Harley Davidson. Supporters: Jenkins Properties Management, Southern California Edison, Frank’s Vacuum & Sewing, Tender Treasures, Escrow for You and S.I.G. Property Management.
This event continues looking for new sponsors. If you can help, contact our office.
Avoid the lines and purchase your dinner tickets early over at Schreiner’s Fine Sausages located at 3417 Ocean View Blvd. in Glendale. Regularly $10, now on sale for $8.50.
Our own Charles Beatty has lived in the community for over 60 years and been involved in the community in many different arenas. He is up for reelection with the C V Water District. Charles works hard at whatever he takes on and is very concerned with water conservation. The board is happy to report that water usage is down 20% based on a five year average from 2005 to 2009 and 15% down from 2008 to 2009.
Attention MVCC Chamber members: Would you like to host a mixer at your business and get some attention? The office is putting our 2010 mixer schedule together now, so call us for details.
We have a new member in town: La Perla Design Gallery located at 2315 Honolulu Ave. in Montrose. Contact Jake Menachian at (818) 957-6900 to ask about his store.
