Fall in Love with Montrose!

“That old September feeling, left over from school days, of summer passing, vacation nearly done, obligations gathering, books and football in the air.”
~ Wallace Stegner, “Angle of Repose”

The crisp cool air of fall welcomes an exciting change in Montrose. While the leaves change colors, the shops make way for new arrivals and the restaurants and cafés blend seasonal hints of fall into their signature dishes. This season, engage your senses in all that Montrose has to offer.

Stroll the town for exciting window displays and peek inside to see the new arrivals. A few places in town that embrace the season with beautiful décor are Twigs & Things, Needle In A Haystack and Mountain Rose Gifts. Choose from a vast array of timeless fall décor, including fun playful witches, skulls and Jack o’ Lanterns along with fun candle fragrances like Bubbling Caldron and Enchanted Spell.

You may notice the smell of cinnamon and freshly baked goods looming throughout town. Try the apple and pumpkin pies from Etc. Gourmet Kitchen or head into Starbucks or Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for the iconic pumpkin spice latte.
Get excited for the season in Montrose! The feeling of fall welcomes exciting new changes. Most importantly, it’s a time to celebrate the harvest, enjoy the outdoors and prepare for winter. Every day, there’s something new. Stroll the Montrose Shopping Park to discover what’s inside.

This week our Sunday Harvest Market features the sounds of ukuleles by the very popular Honolulu Avenue Strummers. Feel like dancing? For an added treat we will have a square dance demonstration by Sets In Step at 11:30 a.m. at the west end of the Market. Fresh corn on the cob, Asian pears, peach plums, lemon cucumber pickles and local homemade jam … we have everything you need at the Montrose Harvest Market. And for the children, free balloons at the Information Booth, courtesy of the merchants of the Montrose Shopping Park, along with face painting, glitter, and henna tattoos and the kids’ favorites, pony rides and petting zoo.
