Montrose Travel Inducts Record Number of Non-Selling Agents into President’s Club

Montrose Travel, a $140 million full-service travel and host agency, has been in the travel business for 56 years and counting. With a firm belief that success is a direct result of hard work, Montrose Travel offers their team an opportunity to be rewarded for their outstanding achievements. Originally created to honor their “superstars,” agents become members of the President’s Club by achieving $1 million in sales in the span of one year.

In recent years, the Club has evolved and now all company associates are allowed to nominate non-sales associates who have excelled tremendously throughout the year to join the Club. Montrose Travel’s president, Joe McClure, reviews the nominations and selects a limited number to be inducted.

Over the years, Montrose Travel has seen impressive growth of the number of people that qualify for President’s Club, but this year topped the charts. Not only did over 40 of their travel professionals sell over $1 million, but a record number of non-sales associates were honored as well.

“In 2011, we selected more non-sales associates than ever before. The people in this group work incredibly hard and are significant contributors to our continued success. They deserve to be honored just the same as our top selling agents,” said president McClure.

Besides a sense of pride, the associates who make the President’s Club are awarded with an all- inclusive getaway with their family and fellow winners.  These destinations have ranged from land excursions at beautiful golf and spa resorts to tropical cruises. This year, the winners indulged in a three day cruise to Mexico.

“I’m not going to lie; it takes a lot of hard work and determination to earn a spot within President’s Club. I believe that’s why the McClures go above and beyond to recognize and reward such commitment,” said winner Liza Weir, relationship manager, Loyalty Solution. “This cruise is an amazing gift and another fine example of how truly wonderful it is to be part of the Montrose Travel family.”

Established in 1999, the President’s Club has been a driving force of the Montrose Travel family and a lasting tradition. Montrose Travel looks forward to an exciting new year that will continue to bring new members to the President’s Club.
