Five new members joined the CV Chamber of Commerce in April and May.  We welcome the following organizations into the Chamber family.

Velvet Rhodes, owner of Velvet Rhodes Productions, hails from London, England. She began her career in music, playing and singing alternative rock music in several bands, before moving on to theatre, film, writing and painting. She brings her prodigious talent to Glendale, creating and coordinating the Glendale International Film Festival, now in its third year. She is producer/director/writer of the documentary “Vintage Glorious Glendale.” Next in the series, “Vintage Crescenta Valley,” is currently in production. See more at

Montrose Community Church recently added Terry and Laura Neven to its church staff as pastor and wife. One of their first undertakings was to join the CV Chamber. Pastor Neven holds a Bachelor of Theology degree, is an ordained minister and certified celebrant, serving families in grief throughout the valley. Terry and Laura are available for counseling, prayer and encouragement and to answer your questions about the Lord and the church. Call them at (818) 488-4375 or learn more about the new things happening at the 2416 Montrose Ave. facility by visiting

We also welcome Integral Engineering Services, Inc. and its owner, Darren Azarian.  Integral is a privately held, family-owned company proficient in design, construction and operations and maintenance of mechanical systems for environmental remediation and alternative energy projects. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Glendale, the company provides services throughout the state of California. Darren Azarian has led Integral since then with the discipline from his military training as a U.S. Army infantry soldier, knowledge as a degreed civil engineer and experience as an environmental engineer and manager. Wireless Plus, Inc. also joined the Chamber this month. Located at 4000 E. Foothill Blvd., they’re known to some as the Verizon store at the corner of Lowell and Foothill. Sometimes shopping for technology on the Internet is not good enough – you need to talk to a real, live person. Wireless Plus, Verizon Wireless Retailer is your one-stop shop for all the newest phone gear. Their in-store personnel can help set you up with the right phones and services for you and your family. Call them at (818) 542-9855 for more information.

Just across the parking lot from them is our fifth new member – Albertsons.  We’re happy to have them back in the neighborhood and proud to have assisted with their first Customer Appreciation Day last month, a smashing success. They’ll be having another three-day event July 22, 23 and 24. Fresh barbecue will definitely be on the agenda that weekend but customers can get their hands on their delicious barbecue chicken, ribs and tri-tip every Saturday! Rubbed with their own special seasoning and slow-barbecued, the meats are tender, juicy and, until around 4 p.m. each Saturday, ready for sharing at your next backyard gathering. I hear their tri-tip sandwiches are killer as well. Call (818) 248-2745 for more information.

Welcome to all our new members. The Chamber is here to support you.  Remember: “Our Business is Your Business.”
